Â
Guest Experience & Safari Considerations
Â
Close Wildlife Encounters
Our safaris offer opportunities for memorable wildlife encounters, including riding close to giraffe, cantering past wildebeest, and observing elephants, subject to wildlife behaviour, seasonal conditions and safety considerations.
Â
Immersive Bush Living
Experience an authentic African bush environment, including sleeping under the stars, swimming in dams and enjoying the hospitality of the ranch.
Â
Conservation Focus
Guests will have the opportunity to learn about conservation initiatives and how horses can assist with anti-poaching activities during one of the safari rides.
Â
Variety of Activities
In addition to horseback riding, selected itineraries may include wildlife tracking, stargazing, boat cruises and cultural experiences.
Â
Riding Ability
Our horseback safaris are best suited to intermediate to experienced riders, as itineraries may involve long hours in the saddle and riding in varied bush terrain.
Guests should provide accurate information regarding their riding experience and ability when making a booking. Safari activities are undertaken subject to the assessment of the guides and the prevailing conditions.
Â
Accommodation
Our tented accommodation provides an authentic, close-to-nature bush experience rather than a luxury-focused stay.
Â
Large walk-in tents are equipped with:
Â
-
Full en-suite facilities
-
Flushing toilets
-
Running hot and cold water
Â
For nights spent camping, guests are provided with comfortable bed rolls (swags) with proper linen.
Â
Seasonal Considerations
Wildlife sightings, riding conditions and weather can vary depending on the season.
Â
-
The dry season generally provides clearer conditions for tracking and wildlife observation.
-
The wet season brings lush landscapes and different wildlife and riding experiences.
Â
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, as animals move freely in their natural environment and are affected by weather, seasonal conditions and other natural factors.
